Getting All Wet at Bandung’s Water Trip

Eid holiday is just a few steps away; you probably already wondering what kind of holiday that you will have this year. Usually after the family gathering at the winning day of Eid, people started to go to their favorite places, spending leisure times with the whole gang. Talking about the favorite destinations, swimming pools is one of those on the top lists. Going all wild with all those splash, dipping at the pool or other amusing activities are so refreshing and super fun, especially for the young ones. Don’t have a clue about the best water amusement spots here at Paris of Java? Let us give you the hints below.

1. Full Speed at Water Parks
Wanna have a one-stop fresh trip? Water parks are where you should bump into. Water slides, splash pads and various types of water playground are there to enliven your time, besides the standard pools. Bandung has several water parks, spreading around the town. In downtown, you can go to the water park at Aceh Street. On the Southern side of Bandung, just ride to Sulaiman Airport of Kopo Street, where the water park is located. They charge about Rp. 30.000 to Rp. 50.000 per person to enter the park, quite cheaper than water parks in Jakarta or Bogor. Get ready for loads of water adventure as you explore the whole playing arena.

2. Take Cover on Indoors
Currently the weather here in Bandung is unpredictable. Sunny and rainy day can come up on and off in a day. Don’t want this unstable weather ruin your swimming trip? Going to indoor swimming pools will be a perfect answer for that. Even though, these indoors don’t provide water playgrounds like those in water parks, but it guaranteed you a relaxing swimming time. All those sunburn worries also will be swept away in here. Some of indoor pools in Bandung are using warm water, usually those who located in the cold area of Northern Bandung, like the upper side of Setiabudhi Street. Several fitness centers also provided indoor swimming pools. You may check them out at Soekarno-Hatta Street (near Pasir Koja toll gate) and Batununggal (near Buah Batu).

3. Bring Out The Heat at Hot Springs
The freeze breeze of Bandung is the reason why you should dip on hot springs. Stretching out all the stiff muscles, feel the heat giving relaxing sensation throughout the whole body, what a remarkable experience to have! You may choose between hot springs in Northern or Southern area of Bandung. Going north, the most recommended place is Ciater. The well-known area which has many hot springs from small to large places. While in the south, Cimanggu and Ciwalini could be your choice. These hot springs are really famous for locals and domestic tourists, so in holidays they usually jam-packed with visitors. This is something that you should anticipate earlier, by getting there not during peak hours.
